In this post, I recognize a very successful senior, D.J. Pittman! D.J. graduated from Lexington Senior High School located in Lexington, North Carolina on Friday, June 12th. He was the President of the Males Only Club, member of the Lexington Youth City Council, member of the National Honor Society, and the Senior Class Vice-President while attending LSHS. He has been accepted to 4 great universities: University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina State University, Winston-Salem State University, and University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
After his parents; Derall & Celena Pittman and family, waited for his decision on which college he would choose to attend, he finally chose the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill! LET'S GO TAR HEELS! Adding to their excitement; because they're big Tar Heel fans, he also received a $97,000 scholarship to UNC among several other scholarships. Talk about achievement right?!?!?!?!
D.J. will be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the Fall of 2015 majoring in Computer Science. As his cousin, I wish him great success on his journey as a Tar Heel and more accomplishments in his future! Congratulations D.J. Pittman!
